Who You Are:

This job is based at the ESA European Space Operations Centre in Darmstadt.


The European Space Agency follows Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) principles for its ESA Tracking Stations Network (ESTRACK), as well as the associated control center facilities and the Mission Operations Infrastructure IT (MOI-IT).

The role involves joining the Telespazio ESTRACK ILS team at ESOC and supporting their on-site activities.

What You Will Focus On:


1) Procurement:

  • Establish and maintain good relationships with new and existing business partners.
  • Issue Requests For Quotation (RFQ).
  • Initiate procurements according to established procedures.
  • Store and maintain information and purchase documents.
  • Verify deliveries and invoices.
  • Communicate with suppliers and proactively follow up on procurement status.

2) Logistics:

  • Coordinate with ESOC transport departments for incoming and outgoing goods.
  • Prepare and complete transport documents.
  • Forward and dispatch received equipment.
  • Organize logistics meetings with ESTRACK stations.

3) Stock and spare organization:

  • Manage ESTRACK stocks at ESOC.
  • Review stock reports from ESTRACK stations.
  • Conduct physical inventories on a yearly basis.

4) Reporting:

  • Produce monthly calibration reports.
  • Provide monthly progress reports.
