This position is suitable for experienced professionals, career changers, or beginners.

As part of this role, you will support the Workplace Health & Safety Manager in identifying hazards in the workplace and implementing safety and health concepts according to both legal and company guidelines.

You will ensure the implementation and compliance of Workplace Health & Safety policies.

You will assess workstations, changes in work processes, and technical installations, and advise individual departments on the implementation of occupational safety measures.

You will work closely with the Workplace Health & Safety Manager and the management team at the South End location and advise and support all employees on occupational safety and health protection at the logistics site in Bad Hersfeld.

You will maintain contact with the works council and company doctor on all matters related to occupational safety and health protection.

Your responsibilities include:

Conducting hazard assessments under expert guidance
Supporting departments in creating operating instructions
Advising employees and management on occupational safety
Collaborating with the works council and company doctor
Implementing legal and Amazon internal requirements for occupational safety
Collaborating with support departments
Preparing and following up on occupational safety committee meetings and supporting safety officers
Assisting and supporting in occupational health management
First experience in occupational safety or related fields (fire department, first aid, or similar)
