Job Summary:

As a Cardiac/Vein Ultrasound Technician or Sonographer, you will be instrumental in providing efficient and patient-focused care.

You will be key in diagnosing and tracking the progress of a patient's condition using ultrasound equipment, specifically in the areas of cardiac and vascular health.

The position requires solid technical knowledge, excellent patient service skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a medical team.


Duties:


  • Carry out diagnostic procedures using ultrasound technology, with a focus on cardiac and vascular studies.
  • Interpret ultrasound data to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment.
  • Manage patient data and create appropriate records.
  • Collaborate with doctors and other medical professionals to understand the required diagnostic procedures and provide relevant data for the same.
  • Maintain the ultrasound equipment to ensure its functionality and reliability.
  • Comply with the safety rules and regulations of the healthcare facility.
  • Provide excellent patient care, ensuring comfort and cooperation during procedures.
  • Stay abreast with the latest developments in ultrasound technology, specifically regarding cardiac and vascular health.
  • Participate in departmental meetings to ensure alignment and coordination of care.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior technicians as needed.

Pay:
$45.00 per hour
