    Description

    Amalgamated Bank is currently looking for a Sr. Contact Center Representative. Join a team responsible for enhancing the consumer and business client experience through various channels. Collaborate with different departments to ensure clients receive optimal service and assistance. From general banking inquiries to technical troubleshooting, this role covers a wide range of responsibilities across all market segments.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Interact with customers via telephone, handling inquiries about the bank's products and services professionally
    • Execute various telephone tasks efficiently such as call transfers, taking messages, and resolving customer issues
    • Maintain confidentiality while confirming customer information and processing service requests
    • Assist customers with online banking, password resets, and other digital services
    • Record customer interactions, complaints, and ensure prompt resolution of issues
    • Provide support for bill payments, mobile banking transactions, and cross-selling products
    • Offer technical assistance to business clients on online banking, mobile apps, and more
    • Conduct testing before system upgrades to ensure seamless service

    Requirements:

    • 3-5 years of experience in Financial Services or Call Center environment
    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Familiarity with internet banking and mobile technology
    • Strong communication skills for email and chat correspondence
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and analytical problem-solving skills
    • Ability to make sound judgments and provide excellent customer service
