Harshi Rambhia

I am a User Experience Designer, skilled at understanding people and their social context to discover unexpected opportunities for design and innovation. I am pursuing an MFA in Interaction Design at the School of Visual Arts, NYC to gain further expertise in the end-to-end process of developing user-centered products and services and explore how technology can be used to enable and empower us.

After graduating as a Product Designer in 2018, I worked in diverse fields including UX design, design research, social innovation, and furniture design. These experiences gave me hands-on experience in developing new products from concept to prototype and testing them. 

Drawing from this diverse background, I take a holistic approach to problem-solving. I am dedicated to understanding user and business needs, as well as their social and cultural context, to create meaningful experiences.

I am a rising senior in the MFA Interaction Design Program at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. Here, I am learning to advance my skills in designing products and services with a user-centered approach. Some of the areas I have studied in this program are UX research, physical computing, framing UX design problems and goals, UX design strategies, service design, making interactive prototypes on Figma and Protopie, making live websites on WIX and Webflow, and making design presentations and product pitches.
