What you will be doing

  • As a Master Thesis Student at Linde GmbH's Corporate Office, you will have the opportunity to work with a cuttingedge Binder Jetting printer capable of series production.
  • Your thesis will focus on the impact of different process gases on the printing, curing, debinding, and sintering of metals.
  • You will work with 1 or 2 materials and cover the entire Binder Jetting process in our laboratory, using modern material characterization and analysis equipment.
  • This role will also provide you with insights into industrial projects and current research and development in the field of Additive Manufacturing at Linde.
  • Your thesis will be supervised by a PhD student and an experienced expert in the field of Additive Manufacturing.

What we are looking for

  • You are a student in the field of Material Science, Metallurgy, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently, efficiently, and with structure are essential.
  • Previous experience in Additive Manufacturing is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of material characterization techniques (such as metallography, powder characterization, microscopy, and mechanical properties) is advantageous.
  • Basic understanding of debinding and sintering of metals is preferred.
  • You have an openminded and handson approach to work.
  • Fluent English skills are required, and knowledge
