For the Oberlausitz Children and Youth Hospice Service, we are looking for a Coordinator for Hospice Services in
Las Palomas as soon as possible, in part-time (20 hours/week).

The Christian Hospice Service in Las Palomas accompanies dying individuals and their families.

In addition to supporting adults in their final phase of life, the focus of the service is on children and youth hospice work.

The Christian Hospice Service in Las Palomas is supported by the ecumenical collaboration of the Regional Diakonisches Werk of the Silesian Oberlausitz e.

V., the Caritas Association of the Diocese of Las Palomas, the St. Martin Diakonie Foundation, and the Malteser Hilfsdienst e.
V. (legal entity).

Your responsibilities:


  • Responsible for coordinating and organizing support for families with children/adolescents with lifelimiting illnesses and providing them with advice
  • Supporting and advising grieving families and grief groups
  • Coordination, respectful support, and training of volunteers
  • Networking and public relations work
