Description

PPG has an exciting career opportunity available for a
Chemical Management Services Supervisor at our Riverside, California location. This position would require travel up to 30%, but will primarily work onsite in Riverside. You will directly manage a team of Material Handlers, Material Coordinators, and other similar roles.

Key Responsibilities

Review/Develop SOW
Determine onsite manpower and equipment requirements
Implement Enterprise planning and communications
Standardize Lean startup operating procedures
Lead in development of new state of the art processes (RFID, Mobil Real Time Scanning etc.)
Create part numbers, locations, and chemical catalog setup
Oversee Export and Import implementation processes
Oversee Staffing and Training
Develop Program Design (POU, Ship, Bill, etc.)
Constant communication with internal functional groups
Understand shipping and receiving of hazardous materials

Requirements:

3+ years of people management experience required
Advanced computer skills required (MS Office, Project Management tools)
High school diploma required
Must be a U.S. Citizen

Preferences

Bachelor's degree in business related field
Prior shipping and receiving experience
3+ years of supply chain experience
EH&S regulatory compliance knowledge
Warehouse compliance knowledge

Salary range:
$70,000-$82,000
