The YWCA Greater Harrisburg has a full-time opening for an experienced professional in human services project management.

The role mainly focuses on facilitating the daily operations of the YWCA's PAATH15 Crossroad Human Trafficking project as well as providing case management and supportive services for survivors.

It also offers a great chance for leadership development. This position works a 37.5 hour work week, Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.


Primary responsibilities include:

  • Managing project data including accurate and timely entry of project services and outcomes
  • Maintaining accurate and complete client files in alignment with project standards
  • Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with project partners and facilitate data collection from partners
  • Compile and submit monthly project reports to the Chief Operating Officer
  • Screen service recipients for human trafficking indicators and identify service needs
  • Respond to crisis intervention needs of human trafficking survivors including hotline calls, medical and legal accompaniments, safety planning, and crisis counseling.
  • Provide supportive services to survivors and family members including case management, supportive counseling, advocacy, information and referrals, shelter intakes, emergency protection orders, civil legal advocacy, and immigration assistance.
  • Provide community outreach and engagement as assigned, raising awareness of human trafficking services
  • Participate in quarterly project meetings and provide project updates to project team
To be qualified for this position, applicant must have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in human services, criminal justice, or related field or Associates Degree with 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Previous experience successfully managing projects and meeting outcomes
  • Previous experience in providing advocacy, social work, human services, or other supportive services
  • Must have a reliable vehicle for travel within Dauphin County and surrounding counties with valid driver's license
  • Knowledge of Dauphin County community resources preferred
  • FBI, Child Abuse, and State Police Clearances

Pay:
$42,000.00 per year
