Provide investigative and legal support to the Enforcement Centers.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Perform legal research for staff attorneys.
  • Assist with preparing for ontherecord testimony of potential respondents. Assist with preparing for and/or take offtherecord customer interviews.
  • Assist investigators with investigative tasks such as entering data and updating and maintaining document files.
  • Review and synopsize transcripts. Assist with preparing for hearings. Analyze documents and prepare exhibits.
  • Citecheck and Shepardize briefs and other pleadings; prepare tables of contents and tables of authorities.
  • Maintain litigation files.
  • Assist with review of documents sent to the Office of Disciplinary Affairs.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Work on special projects as assigned.

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate or significant relevant experience.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and competence on a desk top computer.
  • Experience in a legal setting preferred.
  • Proficiency in Lexis/Nexis. Proficiency in Excel, Access, iManage and Summation a strong plus.

Minimum Hourly Rate $32.91, Maximum Hourly Rate $60.84

Washington, DC:
Minimum Hourly Rate $32.91, Maximum Hourly Rate $58.27

Colorado/Hawaii:
Minimum Hourly Rate $28.62, Maximum Hourly Rate $50.69

New York, NY:
Minimum Hourly Rate $34.35, Maximum Hourly Rate $60.84

Washington State:
Minimum Hourly Rate $28.62, Maximum Hourly Rate $58.27
