- Under supervision, conducts initial interviews with members to determine the nature of their needs.
- Offers professional insight and recommends appropriate courses of action.
- Provides clinical case management and immediate therapeutic services to individuals in crisis.
- Maintains written records of sessions and communicates with relevant parties for information.
- Offers telephone counseling, resource information, and referrals.
- Participates in departmental projects and activities.
- Provides psycho-education as part of treatment.
- Master of Social Work degree or related Behavioral Health field.
- Required licensing as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, Associate Clinical Social Worker, or Professional Clinical Counselor in California.
- Completion of supervised hours and state licensure within specified timeframe.
- Employees must work a schedule to accumulate required supervisory hours annually.
- State licensure must be obtained within 2.5 years of hire for eligible employees.

- Work 4/10 or 5/8 days a week from Mon-Sat.
- Potential for remote and Saturday work after probationary period.
- Possible work in emergency rooms on some nights.
