The city administration of Elmshorn is looking for a:

Neighborhood Manager (m/f/d)

Your tasks - attractive and varied

  • Interface between administration, accommodation and neighborhood - as a bridge builder, create a connection between accommodation and the surrounding neighborhood
  • Organization of round tables and neighborhood conferences
  • Contact person for the neighborhood
  • Organization of information events for residents in cooperation with the accommodation
  • Expansion of volunteer work

Your profile - completely and entirely

  • Completed degree in social or social sciences (social work, education, politics, sociology, community development, neighborhood management or similar) or
  • Completed degree in urban planning or geography or similar qualification or
  • Completed vocational training with many years of professional experience in community work, neighborhood management or similar
  • Experience in neighborhood or community work desirable
  • Experience in networking, public relations, event organization and/or public administration advantageous
  • Strong communication, moderation and conflict resolution skills as well as a confident demeanor
  • Culturally sensitive approach and ability to cooperate and work in a team
  • Creativity, conceptual thinking, independent work and a high level of organizational skills and initiative
