Job Title:
Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse (LVN/LPN) - Per Diem


Location:
Otay Mesa, CA


Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; includes every other weekend (including Sundays)


Job Type:
Per Diem, 6-month assignment, approximately 40 hours per week


Responsibilities:


  • Room patients, including taking vital signs and documenting medical history.
  • Assist physicians and other healthcare providers during examinations and procedures.
  • Manage patient messages, including triaging and responding to patient inquiries.
  • Provide patient education and instructions regarding medications, treatments, and preventive care.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
  • Ensure smooth patient flow within the clinic.
  • Adhere to clinic policies, procedures, and protocols to maintain patient safety and confidentiality.

Requirements:


  • Current LVN/LPN license in the state of California.
  • Experience in rooming patients is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment.
  • Flexibility to work every other weekend, including Sundays.
  • Availability to work approximately 40 hours per week.
  • BLS
  • Covid Card

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience in primary care or outpatient clinic settings.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Assignment Details:

This is a per diem position for a 6-month assignment, with a workload of approximately 40 hours per week.

The primary duties involve rooming patients and managing patient messages, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality patient care within the clinic.


Pay:
$ $48.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
