Devine Plastic and Rubber Technologists plan the production of plastic and rubber products and set up machines and equipment for manufacturing.

They operate the equipment, meaning they start up the machines, monitor each production step, adjust the production process if necessary, and ensure the supply of materials.

They also inspect the finished products for their thermal, chemical, and mechanical quality. In addition, they maintain and service the equipment.
