Head of the School and Sports Office

The city of Karlsruhe is looking for you as the head of the School and Sports Office starting July 1, 2024, in full-time or part-time (tandem).

The current incumbent is retiring.

In this exciting and challenging leadership position, you will shape the school development planning for around 100 schools and take on personnel responsibility for the non-teaching school staff.

You will be responsible for the educational services at schools as well as educational planning and implementation of the legal entitlement to school child care.

Your diverse range of tasks currently also includes municipal sports promotion for over 200 sports clubs, including sports development planning, as well as overall event and sports facility management.

The new head of the office will actively drive and shape an organizational realignment of the office, including changes to the current range of services.

Depending on qualifications and professional experience, the position offers development opportunities up to pay grade B 2 LBesOBW or pay group 15 TVöD plus corresponding allowance.
