Are you an expert in how companies and their partners are using cloud technology to revolutionize medical device manufacturing, remote monitoring, and connected devices?


The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Americas HCLS Industry team is looking for an experienced Medical Devices Industry Leader to join our fast-paced team to work with our strategic partners to lead and execute AWS HCLS Medical Devices business with partners, and drive joint GTM strategy, and help Medical Devices customers solve their business problems.


As the Head of Medical Devices for Americas Industries team, you will be owning & managing the Medical Devices Partner business for Americas HCLS segment.

Additional responsibilities include Medical Devices Industry partner pipeline management, contributing to the HCLS Medical Devices partner ecosystem strategy, managing strategic relationships with influential ISV/consulting firms/SIs, and driving C-level, marketing, field and channel relationships.


You will possess the deep Medical Devices industry background and consulting/sales experience that enables you to engage at the CXO level with Insurance Industry customers and partners, and easily interact with partners, enterprise customers and sales/field reps.

You will align joint go-to-market (GTM) plans with our top consulting and technology partners, execute short-, mid
- and long-term strategy to grow the HCLS Partner business with Medical Devices customers, and leverage supporting partner programs that increase revenue for our partners and end customers.


You have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions, in complex situations.

The position also requires a strong technical acumen, along with working knowledge of the HCLS Medical Devices consulting services landscape.


You will be an expert in running a business, as well as technically savvy enough to drive innovation, ease in doing business, and top and bottom-line revenue growth.

You should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about new business models, solution selling, and partner engagement to help build and convey compelling value propositions for AWS customers through AWS Partners.

You should also have a proven track record of influencing innovation through partners with prior solution and program successes.

Key job responsibilities

Executing the Global HCLS Partner strategic plan for AMER which includes aligning with partner development managers and account managers who manage our top AWS technology and consulting companies.


Be part of the AMER Industry Team to drive the overall global AWS HCLS partner strategy to our internal and external stakeholders including the AWS sales teams, partner sales, as well as media coverage and industry events.

Build C-level relationships with our top Medical Devices customers, and partners.

Execute go-to-market and routes-to-market plans that have clear and measurable ROI.

Represent the AWS HCLS partner strategy internally and externally including presenting at Executive Briefings and Conferences.

Prioritize AWS investment in partners who focus on HCLS, including leading startups, consulting companies, and established ISV/SaaS technology vendors.
