- Engage with product management, solution architects and other stakeholders in planning and organizing large scale solution development
- Lead Program Increment (PI) planning activities by working closely with Solution Management teams. Oversee the PI planning logistics
- Ensure active engagement among external/government stakeholders and internal teams, including solution architects, product management and other functional teams
- Engage with technology/product vendors, government stakeholders and internal teams in driving the data governance requirements, data interface standards leading to effective solution implementation
- Define, standardize and institutionalize SAFe metrics and collection processes
- Define process compliance methods
- Coach solution train stakeholders in SAFe standards and practices
- Define checkpoints for process compliance and corrections
- Drive continuous improvement by gathering feedback across PIs
- Due to the nature of the contract requirements, US citizenship and successful passing of CGI background check is required prior to beginning work. In addition, candidates must have ability to obtain and maintain a DHS EOD/Public Trust clearance.
- 8+ years of experience in leading SAFe solution management in design, development and deployment of a large solution
- Experience in leading stakeholder meetings in the context of requirements workshops, solution planning and governance
- A thorough understanding of SAFe metrics and demonstrated experience in identifying items for improvement by establishing continuous feedback cycles/loops
- Ability to address uncertainties and identify risks at the program level for an effective and timely solution delivery
- A thorough understanding of functional responsibilities and swim lanes including architecture, engineering, operations, help desk, PMO etc.
- Excellent communication skills in driving team collaboration, stakeholder engagement and management
- Relevant SAFe certification(s)
- Knowledge, certification(s) and/or experience in Cybersecurity domain
- Experience in working with government agencies
- Understanding of shared services models and methodologies
- Understanding of federal cybersecurity guidance such as NIST SP 800-37, Guide for Applying the Risk Management Framework to

CGI Federal has an exciting opportunity for a SAFe Solution Manager SME.This is a leadership position where you will work with product management, Solution Architects and other stakeholders in leading the SAFe practice for a large-scale solution of a shared service platform focused on identifying and mitigating a wide range of cyber risks.
You will work closely with the Cloud Architecture and Operations teams to support the client's mission, priorities, and unique challenges.
You will also support the implementation of cyber security COTS offerings focusing on next generation security solutions and technologies.This position is located in our Fairfax, VA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.
You will be required to be in our Fairfax, VA office two days per week.
