Okta's rapid growth and product innovation have contributed to our leadership position in the market for identity and access management.

Today we sell our broad portfolio of solutions to the largest companies in the world, and to optimize for this market we need product marketers who can identify customer pain points and how Okta solves for those across our product lines.


We are seeking a dynamic and strategic-minded individual to join the Growth Product Marketing team as a Growth Product Marketing Manager.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive growth initiatives to drive the adoption of Okta's identity products and solutions.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales Enablement, Product Management, Marketing, Customer Success and Sales Operations to identify growth opportunities, optimize market positioning and accelerate market penetration in the Identity space.


Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Market Analysis and Segmentation:Conduct thorough market research to identify growth opportunities, emerging trends and unmet customer needs in the identity space. Segment the market based on various criteria to identify high-growth segments and target markets.

Growth Strategy Development:Develop data-driven go-to-market plans that capitalize on identified growth opportunities. Define clear objectives, target customers, messaging strategies, and go-to-market channels to drive adoption and growth. Ensure alignment with overall company goals and objectives.

Sales Enablement:Equip various parts of the organization with the tools and resources they need to effectively drive demand and sell our solutions. Develop effective and pragmatic sales enablement materials including discovery guides, objection handling, outreach sequences, battlecards and use case collateral that empower teams to articulate the unique value proposition of our solutions to prospects and customers.

Marketing Collaboration:Collaborate with the marketing team to develop field marketing initiatives, content and messaging that effectively raises awareness and demand for our solutions. Provide input into the development of marketing materials and participate in the planning and execution of marketing activities.

Customer and Field Insights:Gather insights from customers, prospects, market, and sellers to inform product roadmap prioritization, messaging refinement, and go-to-market strategy optimization. Use quantitative and qualitative data to identify customer pain points, preferences, and buying criteria.

Cross-Functional Alignment:Work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales Enablement, Sales, Marketing, Product Management and Customer Success to ensure alignment and successful execution of the growth strategy. Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on progress and results.

Performance Measurement and Optimization: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of go-to-market initiatives and track progress towards growth targets. Analyze performance data regularly to identify areas for optimization and refinement, and iterate on strategies to drive continuous improvement.


Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


  • 3+ years of product marketing, solutions marketing, strategic planning or related roles in the technology industry, preferably in identity security or cybersecurity
  • Proven track record of marketing or selling to business decision makers within large organizations
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability translate insights into actionable strategies
  • Proven ability to operate with excellence and agile in a fastpaced, highgrowth environment and drive results amidst ambiguity and change
  • Ability to drive complex, crossfunctional projects in a highly collaborative environment and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
