Top rated specialty medical group in San Diego, CA has an immediate opening for an experienced Medical Scheduler/Authorization Specialist. Position is working all front office in a Cardiovascular Medical Group.


Summary:

Full Time Medical Scheduler/Authorization Specialist

Pay:
$20.00- $23.00 per hour DOE

Cardiovascular Group


Location:
La Jolla, CA


Days:
Monday

  • Friday 8am5pm

Previous experience as one of the following required:
Authorizations/ Scheduling Specialist, Strong knowledge of Medical Insurance Plans with Surgery Scheduling


Job Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Greet patients upon arrival and check in according to protocol
  • Enter and update all patient demographics
  • Insurance verification and collection of copays
  • Surgery Scheduling a MUST
  • Must have extensive knowledge of insurances and coordination of benefits
  • Take detailed and accurate messages
  • Assists check out, medical records and answering phones
