For our Network Management department, we are currently seeking a Director of Planning Processes (m/f) to join our team in Tehachapi, CA.

You will be responsible for managing, controlling, and leading the planning processes related to water law, urban planning, and wastewater declaration, with a focus on cost, quality, and risk management.

You will identify potential for optimizing standards and processes within your area of responsibility, as well as opportunities for employee development, and find ways to tap into these potentials.

You will oversee the administration and archiving of planning process documents.
You will lead and guide your team, ensuring a balanced workload and adherence to deadlines.
You will serve as the point of contact for cross-departmental wastewater-related issues.

You will identify trends and acquire the necessary knowledge to formulate suitable solutions for the strategic development of our sewer network.

What you bring to the table
You have completed a degree in water management or a related field.

You have several years of practical experience in public administration at a municipal sewer network operator or in a planning office for urban water management, specifically in the area of drainage planning for public administration.

You have extensive knowledge of relevant legal regulations and standards.

You have strong computer and data processing skills (MS Office, SAP, GIS, databases and database management systems, workforce management systems).

You use your independent and structured working style within the sewer management team to achieve
