The GSI Helmholtz Center for Heavy Ion Research in Darmstadt operates one of the leading particle accelerator facilities for science. Currently, the new facility FAIR (Facility for Antiproton and Ion Research) is being built in international cooperation, one of the largest research projects worldwide. We are looking for a Student Assistant (m/f/d) to join the "Super Fragment Separator" department as soon as possible.

This position will involve supporting the planning of pre-assembly and media supply (compressed air, ventilation nitrogen) for the Super Fragment Separator accelerator components.

Employment scope:
up to 20 hours per week
