  • Our neighborhood project "TOM
  • Tolerant Together" is an integrative pilot project that was created in collaboration with the housing company Degewo AG. The concept involves allocating apartments in the neighborhood to both native German and immigrant individuals. There are various neighborhood activities available promoting a "Tolerant Together" community. Social counseling in the new residential area and an intercultural daycare center with 100 spots are operated by the International Bund.

Your responsibilities:


  • You will support and promote children with special needs
  • You will create and implement individualized support plans
  • You will accompany children in their play and learning and ensure their physical wellbeing and personal development
  • You will design your pedagogical work based on the Berlin Education Program
  • You will observe and document the children's development
  • You will work with parents and conduct regular development meetings

Your profile:


  • You have completed training as an educator with state recognition or a comparable qualification and completed training as a specialist educator for integration
  • You have basic knowledge of integration pedagogy
  • You can promote children in their holistic development and individual learning process
  • You appreciate independent, responsible work and are interested in professional development
  • You enjoy working cooperatively in a team
