The candidate must bring a vast understanding of Automotive Contracts, attention to detail, strong organization skills, ability to multitask, and problem-solving skills.

Candidates must have at least two year of Contract Experience at a franchise automotive dealership.
This person must be honest, self-driven, results-oriented, and work well in a fast-paced culture.

BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Process contract, payoffs, and flooring.
• Ensures all transactions are processed timely and accurately.
• Verifies the costs and transactions for each vehicle sale.
• Work accurately within state and corporate guidelines.
• Maintain schedules.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel (or Google Docs)
• Ensure compliance with all legal regulations

Performs other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• The Contract Clerk is responsible for reviewing the dealership's new vehicle sales contracts to ensure proper completion and accuracy.
• Receives and processes new contracts from the Finance/Fleet department and Posts retail and lease finance contracts to appropriate accounting schedules.
• Break down and organize all paperwork in each deal; check for completeness (signatures, downpayment, verify VIN, etc.)
• Maintain organized filing system for all deals and paperwork.
• Scan any added documents to the file.
• Verify and post contract funding.
• Process payoff checks for trade-ins and mail them to appropriate financial institutions promptly.
• Review and ensure the accuracy of the deal's incentives, rebates, commissions, and sales tax.
• Route paid deals to the tag and title clerk for processing.
• Input inventory control information to ensure accurate reporting
• Responsible for schedules pertaining to the sale of new and used vehicles, including but not limited to payoffs, due bills, rebates, and vehicle receivables; prints, analyzes and distributes reports as requested by management.
• Submit weekly reports on schedules with notes on outstanding items.
• Provide administrative support to management, other departments, and coworkers as needed.
• Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor
• Process New vehicle contracts in a timely and accurate manner.
• Process Dealer Trades, Pay off New Car Flooring and Electronic Funding Transactions (EFT's).
• Provides timely and accurate reports as required.
• Verifies the costs and transactions for each vehicle sale.
• Submits for Manufacture rebates and maintain a heat sheet.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Files all 8300 receipts.
