At our location in Bergkirchen near Munich, we develop and manufacture components, modules, and devices for the generation, transport, and measurement of light.

Our technical sales team ensures competent advice and support for our customers. The warehouse at our location is responsible for shipping all Thorlabs products within Europe. Our company is constantly growing - grow with us. We are currently looking for a Firmware Development Engineer (m/f/x) to join our team.

Your responsibilities:
Firmware development for precise laboratory devices in the field of photonics (laser drivers/LED drivers/LED light sources)

Collaboration in defining product requirements, taking into account the needs of our customers Independent implementation of firmware modules Documentation and presentation of development results Commissioning, verification, and validation of prototypes together with electronics, optics, mechanics, and software developers Your profile:
Successfully completed studies in technical computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering, or comparable disciplines Competence in firmware development for 32-bit microprocessors of the Cortex-M family with RTOS Experience in handling electronic devices and test tools Structured work with version control, bug tracking, and documentation tools Passion for hardware-related programming Enjoy working in a team with developers from other disciplines We
