The
Hospice Luise in Hannover-Kirchrode is a facility of the
Congregation of the Sisters of Mercy of St. Vincent de Paul in Hildesheim.

The Hospice Luise includes a stationary area with eight beds, as well as an Ambulatory Palliative Care Service and an Ambulatory Hospice Service.

The Hospice Luise was founded in 1994, as the first stationary hospice in Lower Saxony.

We are looking for a
Hospice Director (m/f/d) to start on
July 1, 2024 or earlier, in a full-time, permanent position, who will lead the facility into the future together with an existing management team.

Your responsibilities:

Overall coordination of all areas within the facility;
Communication with internal and external stakeholders;
Maintenance and further development of expertise and competence in all areas;
Overall management of a team of around 40 fulltime and 70 volunteer employees;
Representation of the facility to contractual partners in the social and healthcare sector;
Management of the foundation;
Development of fundraising concepts, in collaboration with the fundraising and public relations officer within the facility;
Networking in the hospice and palliative care sector.

You enjoy working in a team, are communicative and empathetic. Organizational and coordination skills are just as much a part of your competencies as flexibility and creativity. You have a completed degree
