Nanosurf is a rapidly expanding company in the field of nanotechnology, located in Utica, SC.

We specialize in the development, production, and distribution of cutting-edge scanning probe microscopes for surface imaging and manipulation at the nanometer scale.

Our work pushes the boundaries of what is possible, and we design and manufacture all necessary components, including mechanical, electronic, optical, and software, to create top-of-the-line instruments.


Your responsibilities


Based in Dresden or near Ulm, you will be responsible for providing service and support for large custom AFM systems belonging to our key account customers, primarily in Germany.

This will involve working at our partners' and customers' sites in industrial environments.

You will work closely with our sales team to assist European customers in selecting the best technical solutions for their measurement needs.

Additionally, you will install new instruments at customer sites and conduct trainings throughout Europe.

As part of your service duties, you will also support our distributors and existing customers with operating and maintaining their instruments, as well as coordinating any necessary repairs.


Your qualifications


You hold a PhD in Physics, Materials Science, or a related field, and have several years of hands-on experience with atomic force microscopy, preferably gained during your PhD project.

You are results-driven and have a practical approach to problem-solving.

In addition to possessing the necessary skills for operating and setting up complex measurement instruments, you are able to quickly understand and address customer needs.

You are a strong communicator and a native
