Job Title: Instructional Designer

ACCOUNTABILITY STATEMENT: This role focuses on planning, organizing, and analyzing training materials and programs to address specific business objectives. Collaborating with management, you will ensure the relevance and currency of course content, supporting the introduction of new training materials, and evaluating program effectiveness through various metrics.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Create engaging course content tailored to meet learning objectives
Work closely with subject matter experts to understand training needs
Define instructional goals and develop corresponding content
Design activities that enhance the learning experience
Conduct research on learners and contexts to optimize instructional design
Utilize various multimedia elements to support learning
Develop assessment tools to measure learner performance
Maintain accurate project documentation

JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Minimum 3 years of experience in training/curriculum design
Strong grasp of adult learning principles and instructional design practices
Proficiency in instructional design tools and technologies
Experience with course development software and Learning Management Systems
Visual design skills and storyboarding experience
Ability to create effective instructional materials

EDUCATION: Associate's degree in a related field or formal training in instructional design methodologies
