As the Head of Controlling and Finance, you ensure efficiency and transparency in our central accounting and controlling department in Roxboro, NC.

You optimize processes confidently and across departments. You measure and evaluate the company's success from both an operational and strategic perspective. Therefore, you are an important sparring partner for the managing director and colleagues in the circle of executives. As a leader, you support your employees in achieving their goals in a collaborative and sustainable manner.

Your responsibilities:

Leadership and strategic development of the controlling, accounting, and bookkeeping departments with a team of 4 employees.
Professionalization and expansion of existing tools for measuring success in operations/finance and planning in budget/cost/liquidity areas.
Support for the operational management of other departments and a professional sparring partner for the management and executives.
Taking on core tasks of financial management (monthly/yearly closing, balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement, liquidity management).
Close collaboration with the management, internal departments, and external partners (authorities, tax consultants, and auditors).

Your profile:

Completed degree in economics (university/college) and several years of leadership experience in a mediumsized and ideally comparable environment (e.g. in trade or services).
Experience in operational controlling, particularly in analyzing and evaluating business processes, as well as budget and liquidity planning.
Proficient in all HGB accounting/yearend tasks and indepth knowledge of cost accounting and sales tax
