What to expect

  • Managing challenging infrastructure projects in the railway sector, including associated railway-specific project processes
  • Ensuring cost, schedule, and quality-compliant fulfillment of planning and construction services. Close collaboration with project management, project and portfolio control, procurement, construction operations, and commercial project management
  • Advising project management and coordinating project conditions with internal and external stakeholders such as authorities, planners, experts, and authorities
  • Coordinating the acquisition of all necessary permits (EBA, VV BAU, internal opinions and approvals) for the project
  • Participating in the development and updating of schedule and cost plans. Also, creating forecasts and analyses (target/actual comparison) and identifying potential for optimization
  • Leading and documenting project meetings
  • Participating in railway-specific planning and approval processes

What you bring

  • Completed degree in civil engineering, industrial engineering with a focus on construction/equipment, traffic engineering, or an equivalent degree
  • Experience in the field of infrastructure construction (planning, project management, or construction supervision) as well as knowledge of contract law (HOAI, AHO, and VOB)
