The Student Services Erlangen-Nuremberg is a modern public service company. With around 300 employees, we advise, support and provide for students at eleven universities in Middle Franconia, Eichstätt and Ingolstadt. We operate 25 canteens and other university catering facilities, 21 residential complexes with 3,600 places, the Office for Student Financial Aid, and we also manage 5 day-care centers for students' children. In addition, we offer a wide range of counseling services and cultural activities for students.

We are currently seeking a Cook as a Substitute (m/f/d) for our canteens in Erlangen and Nuremberg to start as soon as possible.

Your responsibilities:

  • Preparation of lunch dishes, including take-away and additional production
  • Administrative tasks in the merchandise management system after training
  • HACCP control, personnel instruction and documentation
  • Planning and participation in events and activities

We expect:

  • Successfully completed vocational training as a cook
  • Experience in traditional gastronomy or communal catering
  • First experience in team leadership is an advantage
  • A positive appearance and enjoyment of interacting with guests
