Job Title: Lead Project Manager

Company: Innovative Construction Solutions

Utilize industry connections to generate leads and explore business opportunities.
Lead the process of acquiring work, including developing profitability plans, coordinating with various departments, managing proposal development, and preparing for interviews.
Identify and communicate strategy for pursuing RFPs to guide project approach, staffing, estimates, risks, schedule, and logistics.
Assign skilled staff to effectively handle project scope and complexities.
Manage the preconstruction phase in collaboration with preconstruction and estimating teams, focusing on project budgets, schedules, logistics, risk identification, and constructability reviews.
Provide supervision across all project phases from preconstruction to close-out, ensuring continuity from beginning to end.
Develop a plan for customer satisfaction and ensure its proper implementation.
Identify project obstacles and recommend solutions to achieve project goals and profitability.
Negotiate owner contracts and supervise subcontract development.
Offer high-level supervision for multiple projects, providing direction when necessary to establish goals and meet project objectives.
Attend weekly owner meetings and visit project sites regularly to monitor project performance in terms of costs, schedule, quality, safety, and profitability.
Maintain communication with clients throughout the project to assess team performance and ensure effective collaboration.
Establish and nurture relationships with owners, consultants, government authorities, project managers, and subcontractors.
Coach, mentor, and train staff to exceed performance standards and enable professional development.
Conduct performance evaluations for reports biannually.
Ensure staff training and compliance with corporate Standard Operating Procedures.
Assist in recruiting and interviewing potential new team members.

Required Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field required; Master's Degree preferred.
Over 15 years' experience in a lead management role for a construction company or CM at Risk firm.
Experience in leading multiple project teams on large-scale projects.
Proficiency in Cost Reporting is necessary.
Thorough knowledge and use of Microsoft Office.
Basic understanding of scheduling software, principles, and logic.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex product offerings.
Proactive, self-motivated, forward-thinking individual with initiative-taking abilities.
Exceptional problem-solving skills.
Proven success in leading and managing projects and teams effectively.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects concurrently.
