Currently, we have a strong team of more than 250 professionals across the country. Our national customer service, accounting, and technology teams, housed at our Las Vegas headquarters, along with the Network Operations Center (NOC), are committed to delivering Internet security services and round-the-clock remote monitoring for all our networks.

Join our Team as a Network Administrator

As a Network Administrator at Smart City, you will play a crucial role in the company's success by handling the installation, modification, and support of provider networks at national event venues from our Las Vegas corporate office. Your responsibilities will involve configuring core networking to ensure seamless services for customers and collaborating with onsite staff to resolve issues and maintain the enterprise network's uptime.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities in this role include:

Serving as a Tier 2 escalation point for field operations staff, taking charge of support tickets, exploring solutions, and coordinating with different tiers to address issues proactively.
Installing, troubleshooting, and monitoring networks to provide client connectivity, while ensuring compliance with company standards.
Proactively monitoring networks, researching best practices, and documenting changes and solutions.
Working with upstream providers for Internet circuits provisioning and troubleshooting issues.
Configuring and troubleshooting hotspot gateways for wireless networks and maintaining infrastructure during outage windows.
Occasionally traveling onsite to provide advanced technical support for client events.

Qualifications

Experience or interest in scripting, programming, and network automation is a plus.
Experience with VOIP systems is advantageous.

Minimum Requirements

Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience: 2-3 years as a Network Administrator with LAN/WAN focus or equivalent.
Certifications: Cisco, Microsoft, and other relevant certifications.
Working Conditions: Corporate office setting with occasional travel and on-call responsibilities.
