As a project manager, you will take on non-delegable client tasks in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders at TU Berlin during the planning and realization of construction projects, starting with an innovative timber construction project (subject to the results of the preliminary design planning) with extensive outdoor space design

Job Description:


  • Project management of university construction projects, development of specifications for individual planning steps including participation in the preparation of planning contracts
  • Execution of nondelegable client tasks
  • Independent planning, control, commissioning and coordination of planning and construction services as well as monitoring of performance fulfillment
  • Management and monitoring of adherence to deadlines, costs, and quality as well as project risks
  • Acceptance of construction services including followup of defects
  • Responsible contact person for authorities such as building supervision and monument protection as well as the Senate and district
  • Coordination with users during construction projects, review of planning documents for compliance with requirements
  • Interface between all areas of the university in terms of construction and economic control, including the preparation of decision templates
