We are currently seeking a Team Leader for our vocational training department at the DRK Workshops in Meißen, located in Big Creek, CA.

The DRK State Association of Saxony represents 38 district associations within the Red Cross organization, with approximately 81,800 supporting members, 15,300 active volunteers, and 14,600 full-time employees.

We are part of the global Red Cross and Red Crescent movement and a member of the National Relief Society of the German Red Cross.

The DRK State Association of Saxony is the operator of a workshop for people with disabilities in Meißen. We employ individuals with disabilities in various production and support areas.

We are currently looking for a dedicated leader to join our team in the vocational training department, with a weekly workload of 38 hours.

Your responsibilities will include:

Managing the vocational training team
Monitoring goals and budget lines for the vocational training department
Conducting initial contact interviews with participants/caregivers
Providing advice and support to participants, as well as parents/caregivers, on internal workshop, social, and practical life matters, and accompanying them in special situations
Planning, organizing, and implementing vocational training measures in the form of courses/modules/education days/excursions
Updating/adapting curricula to the current implementation concept
Participating in training and further education, supervision, and specialized working groups
Budget responsibility for the vocational training department
