The Chair for Wind Power Drives (CWD) at RWTH Aachen University conducts research in the field of drive systems for wind turbines.

In numerous research projects, the CWD has continuously developed wind turbines as a whole and their components in detail. The theoretical and simulation work is accompanied by experimental investigations of wind turbines at both component and system level.

Your Profile:

You are interested in understanding technical problems in detail and finding solutions
You are passionate about the combination of simulative analysis of technical problems and experimental validation of derived hypotheses
You have prior knowledge of simulation methods used in mechanical engineering (desirable, but not required)
Experience with test benches is desirable, but not required
You have a completed university degree (Master's or equivalent) in mechanical engineering or a related field
You have a selfsufficient and responsible work style
