Aller-Weser-Klinik gGmbH, located in the geographically interesting city triangle of Hamburg-Bremen-Hannover, operates the hospital in Verden with 131 beds and the hospital in Achim with 140 beds, together providing care for 15,000 inpatients and 29,000 outpatients annually in the district of Verden.

The city of Achim is only one train station or a 10-minute drive from the city center of Bremen.


In the Achim hospital, in addition to the clinics for general internal medicine and geriatrics, urology, plastic, hand and foot surgery, orthopedics, anesthesia, and a ward for ENT medicine, the clinic for trauma surgery, orthopedic surgery, and general surgery is established.
