The Department of Traffic Management is looking to fill a 0.5 position for an engineer (m/f/d) in the field of road markings.

The Department of Traffic Management is responsible for ensuring safe and efficient traffic flow on the streets and paths of Cologne, by foot and with all means of transportation, in an innovative, connected, and intelligent manner.

The position is located within the Operations Management department in the Road Marking division at the left bank construction yard, Widdersdorfer Straße 158.


Your Profile:

Required:

  • A successfully completed degree in civil engineering (at least a diploma or bachelor's degree) with a specialization in traffic engineering or construction management.
  • Alternatively, a successfully completed degree in another engineering field (at least a diploma or bachelor's degree), with a focus on traffic engineering or several years of experience in the field of traffic engineering.
  • In addition, we value:
  • Your ability to argue and perform within your individual capabilities, as well as your organizational skills and confident demeanor.
  • Experience in project management, particularly with projects that require high levels of coordination.
  • Knowledge of procurement law and the service phases of the HOAI (Fee Structure for Architects and Engineers).
  • Good communication skills in both written and spoken German, with negotiation proficiency.
