Description
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES * Managing a team of 7 employees * Point of contact for accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, general ledger, payroll and expense accounting, taxes, treasury/liquidity planning, internal control system/SOX compliance, and group reporting * Preparing, planning, and coordinating monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (HGB) * Identifying potential risks, deriving recommendations for action, and implementing measures * Coordination with the Director of Finance, auditors, and tax advisors * Further development of accounting processes Your profile: * Successfully completed commercial training with additional qualification as a certified accountant or a successfully completed business administration degree * Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar position * First leadership experience is desirable * Excellent knowledge of German accounting principles (HGB) and tax regulations * Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to work independently and in a team * High level of accuracy and attention to detail
