We are seeking to add an Administrative Support Coordinator to our Pikesville/ Woodholme team


The Administrative Support Coordinator provides direct administrative support to the Assistant Practice Manager and Practice Manager of a specific site.

The Administrative Support Coordinator may be required to carry out site-specific duties as assigned that include but are not limited to the Patient Service Representative, Medical Records Clerk, Referral Coordinator, Data Entry Clerk and Switchboard Operator roles.

The Administrative Support Coordinator will complete assignments and audits related to daily operations to ensure accuracy and maximize productivity.

The Administrative Support Coordinator provides an efficient, yet nurturing experience for staff, patients and visitors; promoting a positive image to the public and conveying the mission and vision statements of the company.


Job Duties include the following:


  • Support the Assistant Practice Manager with completing daily batch closures and monitoring electronic interfaces.
  • Run eligibility reports and verify insurance.
  • Introduce new hires to employees and provides tour of site.
  • Maintain an indepth knowledge of the Nextgen EPM/ EHR system
  • Oversee maintenance of waiting rooms and exam rooms.
  • Maintains and distributes office supplies/PPE.
  • Assists patients with portal related issues.

Schedule
Monday - Friday 8:30am-4:30pm


Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:


  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of general medical office procedures.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to convey a positive attitude and project a professional image.
  • Ability to remain flexible.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of the team.
  • Requires long periods of sitting, intermittent standing, reaching and bending. Must be able to move freely throughout the facility, travel efficiently between assigned site and other locations and be able to lift approximately 10 to 20 lbs. regularly.
