    Internal Description

    Join our team at Audubon as a Facilities Engineer, Senior based in Houston, TX. As a key member of our team, you will undertake mechanical engineering tasks related to equipment, structures, and systems design.

    Key Duties:
    • Create specifications for project assignments, including client requirements, design needs, and vendor drawings.
    • Produce engineering sketches, calculations, and analysis models for complex projects.
    • Review and approve vendor drawings to ensure compliance.
    • Effectively communicate with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
    • Manage project timelines and budgets, adhering to quality standards.
    • Follow health, safety, and environmental regulations and participate in hazard identification programs.
    • Collaborate with drafting/design teams to review engineering drawings.
    • Conduct site visits to evaluate project requirements.
    • Prepare requisitions and bid tabulations for equipment purchases.
    • Focus on safe design practices and cost-saving opportunities.
    • Plan and oversee project resources and budgets.
    • Lead multi-discipline projects, delegate tasks, and provide feedback on performance.
    • Offer guidance and expertise to colleagues on work techniques.
    Requirements:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably from an ABET Accredited Institution.
    • PE license is required.
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience with field experience preferred.
    • Experience with Caesar II, NozzlePRO, and PIPE-FLO software is a plus.
    • Strong knowledge of piping systems and equipment design.
    • Problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
    • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Experience managing projects from start to finish.
