    Company Description
    Our client is an industry leading engineering and geological consulting firm specializing in underground storage and subsurface injection/disposal. Their expertise lies in various areas including salt caverns, mined caverns, depleted field/aquifer storage, injection wells, industrial waste and brine disposal wells, CO2 EOR and sequestration wells, gas storage wells, natural gas, crude, chemicals, and gas liquids (NGL, LNG, LPG, CNG) storage, regulatory permitting, advocacy, expert witness, no migration petitions, due diligence and acquisition technical support, project management, site supervision, and engineering and field well drilling/workover.

    Role Description
    This is a full-time on-site/field site role for a Senior Field Engineer at based in Houston, TX. Must have the ability to travel and work onsite at facilities/locations for extended periods of time. Expected field time up to 50% of the job description. Considerable amount of time may be spent outside the office at various project sites throughout all areas of the United States. The Senior Engineer will be responsible for performing day-to-day engineering tasks related to underground storage and subsurface injection projects. They will be involved in project management, site supervision, engineering design, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The Senior Engineer will also work closely with clients and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Prepare detailed cost estimates and budget for individual projects.
    • Prepare detailed procedures for projects including: well testing, acid treatment, wireline diagnostics, coiled tubing, workover, drilling, and sidetracking.
    • Perform and/or check technical calculations.
    • Collaborate with other team members to meet deliverables on project and obtain further knowledge and experiences.
    • Effectively communicate with project manager, project engineers, and other members of the project team.
    • Solicit bids and pre-qualify potential vendors.
    • Analyze bids, select, and contact project vendors.
    • Overnight, out-of-town travel and the ability to work outside normal business hours.
    • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
    • Prepare final reports on projects for submittal to client and regulatory agencies.
    Qualifications
    • Must have 3-10 years relevant industry experience.
    • Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Engineering, or related field.
    • Proficiency in regulatory permitting and compliance preferred.
    • Project management skills.
    • Ability to supervise field work and drilling operations.
    • Strong technical writing skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Professional engineer (PE) license is preferred.
    • Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship.
