Are you able to keep track of the variety of billing systems, types of services, and service providers? Numbers and legal jargon don't make you break out in a sweat? Then we should get to know each other


As a private health insurance company, we provide coverage for those who ensure our safety in everyday life: the members of professional fire departments and fire stations with full-time staff, as well as the federal and state police, including their spouses and children.


Responsibilities:

  • You are responsible for reviewing and reimbursing claims in the areas of health and longterm care insurance based on the general insurance conditions, corresponding tariff conditions, and civil service regulations.
  • You review claims according to the underlying fee systems (e.g. GOÄ and EBM) or other entitlement bases (e.g. SGB XI).
  • You also handle the input of billing data into the computer system and process bulk invoices for outpatient medical treatment.
  • In addition, you will be responsible for handling incoming mail and email inquiries, as well as providing customer service over the phone and in person.

Qualifications:
What should you bring?

  • A good foundation for your success is one of the following qualifications: medical assistant, medical specialist, healthcare management assistant, or social insurance specialist.
  • Ideally, you have experience in billing according to the fee systems GOÄ and EBM, as well as SGB XI.
  • You have excellent customer service skills and strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
