At its location in Weißwasser, the BAFA administers federal funding for efficient buildings (BEG), as well as a partial area of the program for promoting the sale of electric vehicles (environmental bonus) and the granting of adjustment benefits to employees of the lignite mining industry (APG).

As the central first point of contact for questions about various energy funding programs, the BAFA also operates an Energy Information Center (EIC) in Weißwasser.


In connection with one of these tasks, you will take on the management of a department at our location in Weißwasser.

For this, you will be responsible for the following tasks:


  • Motivating and leading employees,
  • Professional management of the task,
  • Resource responsibility,
  • Coordination and monitoring of task completion within the department, including the development of work goals,
  • Participation in decisionmaking/ensuring the proper execution of the task,
  • Further development of the department or specialist area, taking into account changing framework conditions,
  • Designing processes and procedures,
  • Dealing with fundamental issues,
  • Representing the department or specialist area externally,
  • Professional exchange and communication with the BMWK and national interest groups.
Our requirements

You are a fully qualified lawyer (m/f/d) with at least a satisfactory legal state examination.

Several years of leadership experience is advantageous, several years of professional experience is expected.

You are a dedicated and performance-oriented person with a strong ability to work cooperatively
