    Description

    LAC Federal is searching for an Administrative Specialist II to play a vital role in coordinating and managing administrative tasks within an information technology setting. This position involves overseeing the collection and preparation of operational reports, budget expenditures, and statistical records of performance data. Additionally, the Administrative Specialist II may supervise various support services, such as maintenance, repair, supplies, mail handling, and file management. Using computer systems, including PCs, the Administrative Specialist compiles, stores, and retrieves management data to support decision-making processes and organizational efficiency.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Report Coordination: Coordinate the collection and preparation of operational reports, budget expenditures, and statistical records related to performance data within the information technology department, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
    • Budget Management: Assist in tracking and monitoring budget expenditures, providing support to ensure adherence to financial guidelines and resource allocation in alignment with organizational goals.
    • Statistical Recordkeeping: Maintain comprehensive statistical records of key performance indicators and metrics, analyzing data trends and patterns to support informed decision-making and operational enhancements.
    • Service Oversight: Direct and oversee administrative services, including maintenance, repair, supplies procurement, mail handling, and file management, ensuring efficient and effective support for departmental operations.
    • Data Management: Compile, store, and retrieve management data using computer systems, including PCs, employing software applications and databases to organize and manage information effectively.
    • Communication Support: Assist in facilitating communication within the department and with external stakeholders, coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting minutes as needed.
    • Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation and records related to administrative processes, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
    • Project Support: Provide administrative support for departmental projects and initiatives, assisting in planning, coordination, and implementation as necessary.

    Requirements

    • High School diploma or equivalent.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in administrative support roles within an information technology environment.
    • Advanced proficiency in computer applications, including data management and reporting tools.
    • Demonstrated ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Experience with budget tracking and financial management preferred.
