We are the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE) and around 14,400 employees with very different tasks share the same goal here: the well-being of our patients.

The unique gastro job:

In one of the most modern clinics in Europe, we offer healthy and varied meals with our innovative care system.


All meals can be selected from a large overall offer, from which all patients receive a specially and freshly prepared meal.


In fixed shifts, either from 7:00 am to 1:30 pm or from 1:00 pm to 7:30 pm, you ensure the gastronomic service in a ward kitchen.

2-3 weekend shifts per month are mandatory with full time off.
