The residential facility "Das Wohnhaus Derne" in Dortmund-Derne provides supported living for more than 50 people with disabilities.

This is complemented by work opportunities in the Dortmund workshops, as well as day programs for those who are no longer able to work.

The multi-professional team consists of professionals with nursing, educational, and household skills, as well as support staff for care and assistance.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for six

Nursing or Care Professionals (m/f/d)

Job Description:

Your Responsibilities:

Support, assistance, and guidance for people with disabilities in their daily lives
Promotion of social skills and ensuring participation in community life for our residents
Undertaking basic and medical care tasks
Collaboration in a multiprofessional team
Developing, implementing, and evaluating living and participation documentation
Creating care and individual support plans
Participation in the implementation of the quality management system
Undertaking household tasks

Your Qualifications:

Completed training as a care professional, special needs educator, geriatric nurse, or educator
Ability to communicate and cooperate respectfully with residents, employees, and superiors
Personal suitability and interest in working with people with disabilities
Preferably experience in caring for people with disabilities
Willingness to work on holidays and weekends
Flexibility and resilience
Willingness to participate in the development of our concept
Driver's license (
