The senior home Steglitz in Plevna, KS is currently seeking for the following position to be filled as soon as possible: in the housekeeping department, specifically in the residential kitchen and cleaning areas.


Requirements and qualifications for the position:

  • Knowledge in kitchen and cleaning areas
  • Practical experience in kitchen and service areas
  • Enjoyment in working with elderly people
  • Willingness to work collaboratively and as part of a team
  • Ability to handle criticism and be flexible, with good observation and comprehension skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Friendly and attentive demeanor
  • Willingness to continue personal development

Workplace:
Residential kitchens and cleaning areas.


The tasks in the house include the following:

  • Preparation of breakfast, coffee, and dinner meals while adhering to dietary requirements
  • Distribution of meals (including lunch) and assistance in the service area
  • Documentation and compliance with HACCP regulations
  • Assistance with receiving, storing, and distributing goods
  • Cleaning tasks in the service, kitchen, and storage areas
  • Assistance with general cleaning, such as bathrooms, floors, and windows.
