**Your Role: The Distribution Associate 1 at MilliporeSigma in Sheboygan Falls will complete the following tasks on a daily basis:

Accurately document all movement of materials
Verify chemicals, catalog number, lot number, special request information, unit size and weights against order documentation found in packing instructions
Condense, straighten, and maintain warehouse and dock areas
Report unsafe or potentially unsafe hazards to team leads or member of management
Use a powered pallet jack and manual material handling equipment
Select orders for processing
Pack hazardous items for shipment to customer following established procedures and instructions while complying with hazard regulations
Prepare materials for shipment, verify that all appropriate markings and labels are present on packages to comply with company procedures and DOT, IATA, and IMO regulations, making corrections when necessary
Perform defined audit tasks with guidance
Scan or meter products into the shipping system
Miscellaneous duties, projects, and tasks as assigned
Follow good distribution practices (GDP), where applicable Shift/hours: 2 nd shift, 2:00 PM 10:30 PM, M-F

Physical Attributes:

Wear appropriate protective gear, (hard hats, glasses/goggles, chemical resistant suits, gloves, safety shoes) and other personal protection equipment "PPE" to protect from toxic or corrosive chemicals in the forms of liquids, solids, vapors or airborne particles
Sit, stand, walk, reach above the shoulder, stoop, kneel, twist, crouch, or crawl
Lift and move up to 50 pounds unassisted
Move more than 50 pounds with assistance
Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and adjust focus Regular use of phones, computers, office equipment, and laboratory equipment

**Who You Are:
**Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED

**Preferred Qualifications: - 1+ year of work experience in a warehouse environment

Knowledge of shipping regulations
Experience working with hazardous materials
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail proficiency Adjust to changing priorities in a fastpaced environment
