- Input and verify production data from the field into the production accounting system
- Work closely with field personnel to resolve questions and inaccuracies about the data
- Perform variance analysis for downtime, SCADA data, well test, and production volumes
- Oversee, perform, and manage complex production allocation networks
- Proactively monitor variance reports to identify and resolve volumetric discrepancies
- Prepare daily and monthly production reports
- Validate and reconcile oil invoices/statements to daily/monthly trucking tickets
- Validate and reconcile off load systems with sales tickets
- Reconcile gas volume statements to settlement statements
- Review and reconcile monthly oil and gas allocations for assigned area
- Prepare and submit State/Federal regulatory filings related to production data
- Maintain assigned documentation for internal and external audit
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field from an accredited four-year university is preferred
- 2-5+ years of production accounting or related experience in the oil and gas industry
- System savvy and ability to work with different applications and databases
- Experience with IFS/P2 Merrick applications preferred
- Ability to proactively identify issues and drive towards creative solutions
- Ability to work independently, yet cooperatively and constructively across different departmental functions
- Ability to manage diverse tasks of differing priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
