Our client, an innovative and future-oriented company based in Lost Creek, WV, is seeking an experienced Project Manager (m/f/d) for special machinery in a direct placement role.

In this position, you will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and successful execution of projects in the field of special machinery.


Responsibilities:

  • Independent management and coordination of projects in special machinery from the planning phase to final acceptance
  • Point of contact for customers, internal departments (design, sales, and procurement), and external service providers
  • Resource and budget planning, as well as monitoring project costs and quality
  • Ensuring compliance with deadlines, cost targets, and quality standards
  • Continuous optimization of project processes and implementation of best practices
  • Active participation in the development of technical solutions and innovations in special machinery

Qualifications:

  • Completed technical degree, preferably in mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in project management in special machinery or a similar industry
  • Indepth knowledge of project conception, planning, and implementation
  • Good technical knowledge in mechanical engineering or laser technology and understanding of complex technical relationships
  • Strong communication and assertiveness skills, as well as the ability to coordinate various interest groups
  • Strong problemsolving skills and a high level of customer orientation
  • Very good English skills, both written and spoken
  • Willingness to travel internationally (20 percent)
